CALL FOR REENACTORS!

Friday Night and Saturday, June 26 and 27

The Laurel home Guard and the 5th Kentucky will co-host a Living History Event and Skirmish on June 26-27 to reenact the Battle of Big Hill, Kentucky. Jackson Energy will sponsor the event and will supply powder and a meal for all reenactors who pre-register. Registration is FREE. Contact Henry Smith or Jim Lawless to pre-register.

There will be at least two skirmishes on Saturday, and reenactors who want to can even stay, fight and camp on Sunday for the public, also.

This event will take the place of the Battle of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, which unfortunately had to be cancelled.

The event will be held at the Jackson Energy complex, 115 Energy Lane, McKee, Kentucky.

The site is between McKee and Annville on Highway 290, about 25 minutes from London or 40 minutes from Richmond, and is very accessible from all points.

We hope you can join us for this exciting event!
